Partnering again this year, WhatIfWeCould and the Source Weekly have launched the second year of Central Oregon Gives to a great start, looking to eclipse the 1st years $578,000! Watch the video from local news station, Central Oregon Daily.
In years past, the Source Weekly’s Give Guide helped local nonprofits get the word out about the work they’re doing in the community. But this year, the program went one giant step further by partnering with What If We Could and adding a digital giving component, CentralOregonGives.com, in which people could donate directly to any nonprofit involved, all from one place.

From mid-November through the end of the year, The Source Weekly and the Bend-based crowd-sourcing website “What if We Could” launched a campaign to raise money for local nonprofits.
And the results blew everyone away.
The original goal was $25,000. After one week they adjusted that to $50,000. And when it was all said and done six weeks later, $580,000 had been raised.
