As a nonprofit community health center organization, the mission of Mosaic Medical is to improve the health and well-being of the individuals, families and communities we serve. Our Mobile Community Clinic (MCC) is a 27-year-old converted RV that provides quality, accessible healthcare to more than 700 at-risk youth and individuals experiencing homelessness. The MCC travels throughout the region, offering care on a walk-in basis at locations where people are already accessing services, such as cold weather shelters and food banks. These patients have an increased risk for bronchitis, pneumonia, sunburn, skin infections, frostbite and other issues. And due to a lack of transportation, many patients are not able to make it to one of our other 14 regional clinics for care. We are asking the community to help us raise the final funds needed to purchase a new, reliable mobile clinic. Our current mobile clinic has reached the end of its service life and it cannot be relied upon to safely travel the many miles required around the region. Inclement winter weather often forces us to cancel visits during the time of year when access to care is needed the most. Help us keep individuals healthy throughout the year, no matter the weather! Your support makes a difference.
