- 27% of Central Oregonians are served by a UWDC-funded program or service. This year, we awarded $310,000 in grants to 26 local nonprofit programs. We also surveyed 30,000 locals about resilience. And, we trained 2,000+ locals in trauma and resilience.
United Way of Deschutes County
40% of Central Oregonians earn less than what it takes to survive in our economy. At United Way of Deschutes County, we fight for the health, education, financial stability, and resilience of every community member. We’re righting imbalances for today’s kids so they can thrive as tomorrow’s adults. We are a local fundraiser and a local funder, raising funds that stay in this community. We are also a convener, bringing stakeholders together to collaborate via TRACEs. We build resilience in individuals, families, and our community. We belong to you — our Central Oregon community.
