Details coming this summer, stay tuned!

NeighborImpact’s Empty Bowls is an internationally recognized event that raises awareness of hunger and food insecurity. Funds raised support NeighborImpact and our Food Bank. This program feeds approximately 20,000 persons each month and distributes nearly three million pounds of food to 51 local emergency food sites every year. Food we source, collect and distribute feeds over 20,000 persons every month.

Empty Bowls takes place at COCC Campus Center on Sunday, November 8. Guests enjoy homemade soup prepared by COCC’s Culinary Institute students, artisan bread from The Village Baker, refreshments and dessert. Each guest selects and keeps a handcrafted bowl – made by local potters – as a reminder of the millions of bowls that go empty each day right here in Central Oregon.
